Moderate amounts of caffeine can also alleviate muscle fatigue and promote the secretion of digestive juices. Because it stimulates kidney function and has a diuretic effect, it helps the body excrete excess sodium ions. However, excessive intake can lead to caffeine poisoning.
Introduction to the Coffee Centrifugal Spray Dryer
The coffee centrifugal spray dryer is widely used in coffee processing. It is an effective and economical method for producing instant coffee, ensuring high product quality and excellent flavor. In this process, a tall-structure dryer equipped with medium-pressure nozzles is used in conjunction with drying air in a co-current, descending flow. Heated compressed air is supplied either by a system directly fueled by gas or by a system using steam or liquid fuel. Drying temperature is critical; to preserve the aroma, the temperature must be kept relatively low. When drying products composed of instant powder, hollow spheres are formed into particles of approximately 100–300 μm. A CO₂ injection system is required to reduce bulk density.
