A flash drying unit designed for potato protein drying has successfully completed trial operations with six units.
Potato protein is a byproduct of potato starch production. The waste liquid has a high protein content and produces a large amount of physical foam. It pollutes the environment and is difficult to eliminate over time. Potato protein material has characteristics such as high moisture content (80%–87%) and high heat sensitivity; its dried product serves as an excellent natural feed additive.
Our factory supplied Heilongjiang Songtian Group’s starch production enterprise—one of its three major production bases—with a single purchase order valued at over 3 million yuan. The order included six sets of large-scale potato protein flash dryers equipped with steam-electric heaters, XSG-16 drying units, and cyclone dust collectors. During the trial operation period, the project achieved a successful one-time commissioning and demonstrated excellent product recovery efficiency.
