Solvent Recovery System for the Pigment Industry: Ethylene glycol is used as an active agent in the pigment, dye, and phthalocyanine blue chemical industries, where it costs as much as 20,000 yuan per ton. The brine and ethylene glycol solvent used in the washing process are discharged as wastewater. Niru, a subsidiary of GEA based in Denmark, employs the SD spray method to effectively recover both sodium chloride and the solvent simultaneously, reusing them in critical stages of product manufacturing. Earlier, Mingxing Drying had already mastered the core technology and manufacturing processes for this equipment, and successfully built a glove recycling unit at a chemical plant of Fuyan Group in Zibo, Shandong. The solvent recovery rate reached over 98% (Niru achieves over 99%), and the equipment has been operating normally for nearly 5 years. We are currently manufacturing the same equipment for Hebei Merida Group and have gained extensive manufacturing experience.
This system is equipped with a high-speed spray drying unit capable of evaporating 4 tons of water per hour, developed by our factory. It utilizes our independently developed MRW series atomization unit (which has been operating stably for 5 years), paired with a large-scale, custom-built low-temperature heat-exchange coal-fired hot air furnace, and is equipped with flue gas desulfurization equipment. Our company has mastered core technologies in the field of spray drying, including the design of drying towers, the R&D and manufacturing of hot air distribution systems, the manufacturing of large dust collectors, the custom fabrication of hot air furnaces and large heat exchanger assemblies, and the design and manufacturing of flue gas desulfurization equipment. We also possess a proven track record and project experience in the production and manufacturing of hundreds of spray dryers across industries such as food, chemicals, non-metallic minerals, building materials, pharmaceuticals, and bioproducts.
